Meg Ryan joined the lab in 2023 while pursuing a medical degree from Rocky Vista University, College of Osteopathic Medicine (expected graduation 2025). She is currently applying to neurosurgical residencies. She received a B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and her M.S. in modern human anatomy from the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus. Her present work focuses on examining single cell data and local field potentials to optimize targeting for epilepsy surgery. In her free time, Meg enjoys traveling to other countries, spending time outdoors climbing, running, or hiking with her dog “Sir Elton John”, and playing piano.
