Ian Kretzmann, MS-2
Ian Kretzmann is a current MS2 at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Born and raised in Colorado, Ian attended St. Olaf College in Minnesota where he earned degree in Chemistry, played double-bass in the St. Olaf Orchestra, and received All-Conference recognition as a team captain of the Swim & Dive team. Before returning home for medical school, Ian worked as a clinical laboratory technologist at Mayo Clinic and as a research technician at Boston Medical Center, for whom he raised over $11,000 to run the 2023 Boston Marathon. Ian is an avid backcountry skier and fisherman. His current work includes analyzing the synchronization of signals across brain regions with different tasks.
