Daniel R. Kramer, MD

Daniel R. Kramer, MD is a neurosurgeon and neuroscientist. He joined the faculty at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2020 as a Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgeon treating movement disorders, epilepsy, and facial pain. He is also the co-founder of the Neural Engineering Research and Design of Colorado (NERDCO) lab alongside John Thompson, PhD. He graduated from undergrad at Northwestern University, went to med school at University of Pennsylvania, did his neurosurgical training at USC, and fellowship at Stanford. During his research time, he trained at CalTech, Stanford, and USC. In his free time, Dan likes to spend time with his family (particularly in the mountains), trail running, and going to concerts.
